Chapter 02 The chemical properties of electrons and elements

(1) Energy Tendency
Electrons exist in pairs (non-pair electrons tend to form electronic pairs in low energy conditions, thus contributing to chemical reactions) All elements try to fill the outer angle. ex)He, Ne, Ar - Inactive Elements
All atoms try to maintain their electrical neutrality like a single atom.

(2) Chemical reaction
- Method of chemical reaction for filling of external electronic energy shell
- How to share an electron pair with another atom
- How to get one or more electrons from another atom - how to give one or more electrons to another atom

Chemical Reaction: Chemically change in Reactant to New Product. (To be a process that leads to the chemical transformation of one set of chemical substances to another.)

-Ionic bond : The complete transfer of valence electron(s) between atoms. It is a type of chemical bond that generates two oppositely charged ions
ex) NaCl
-Covalent bond(Molecular bond) : A chemical bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms. ex)H2 (hydrogen bonds) / H2O (polar sharing bonds)
