(Diamagnetism vs Paramagnetic)

Magnet

The magnetic properties that attract metals such as iron and nickel are called magnetism, and an object with these magnetic properties is called magnetism.

Diamagnetism

1. All subshells are filled with electrons.
   Ex) He : 1s²   Be: 1s² 2s²    Ne : 1s² 2s² 2p⁶

2. Elements are NOT affected by magnetic fields.

Paramagnetic

1. Subshells are NOT completely filled with electrons.
   Ex) Li : 1s^2 2s^1    N : 1s^2 2s^2 3p^3   F: 1s^2 2s^2 2p^5


2. Elements Are affected by magnetic fields.
