Why do tears taste salty?




Tears are 98% water. 

And then, 2% of them are made up of enzymes that prevent germs by lactoperin or rysozaim. 

It also contains sodium, which is a salt ingredient. Therefore, because of the sodium in this 2 percent, tears taste salty.
